This year, the famous competition comes to you.

Our annual celebration of the very best in fashion and style has returned — but this year with a twist. Along with Myer we have totally reimagined our famous fashion competition in a way that includes everyone — no matter where they are.

We’ll see entrants compete online in every category, showcasing favourites in High Fashion (Womens and Mens Racewear), innovative hats and millinery, our most creative new designers and more.

So embrace all that you love about fashion, celebrate the joy of dressing up and get ready to show off your own creativity in this year’s Myer Fashions on your Front Lawn!

Womens and Mens Racewear National Competition

This year the competition for Womens and Mens Racewear will see opportunity like no other, with female AND male contestants from all over Australia invited to submit up to four individual racewear outfits online. 

Finalists will be selected to represent all 8 states and territories across Australia for each of the Womens and Mens Racewear categories and will receive a dedicated feature throughout the live broadcast of the Melbourne Cup Carnival on Network 10. 

To enter, simply submit photographs of your racewear outfit taken around your home - on your front lawn, backyard, driveway or porch. It’s time to get creative!

There’s more than $80,000 in prizes to be won in each of the Womens and Mens Racewear National Competitions – including a Lexus UX250h 2WD Sports Luxury!

Entries for the Womens and Mens Racewear National Competitions will open on Sofitel Girls’ Day In, Saturday 12th September 2020 and close mid-October

Millinery Award

The 2020 Millinery Award is considered to be the crowning achievement for makers of Australia’s finest headwear, as they compete for the highly coveted award.

Along with helping to shape the future of millinery fashion and showcasing top talent on a national stage, it’s also a chance for milliners to proudly display their work, and earn the kudos of their creative peers.

This year we’ve transformed the Millinery Award to a modernised digital format, with entries open for submission between Monday 7th September and Tuesday 13th October 2020.

Emerging Designer Award

The Emerging Designer Award is one of Australia’s most sought-after, uncovering fresh thinking and bold new ideas.

This year we’ve transformed and broadened the entire competition, in a new and modernised digital format introducing the rising stars of Australian fashion. The winner will receive over $26,000 in prizes including a feature in Vogue Australia Magazine. 

Submissions for the Emerging Designer Award can be made between Monday 7th September and Tuesday 13th October 2020.
