Plan your look
Kennedy Oaks Day is known as Ladies Day, and so racegoers embrace a more feminine palette with pretty pastels and floral prints. If entering The Birdcage, Members Car Parks or Members Enclosures be sure to follow the VRC Dress Regulations. Check out our style guide for further fashion inspiration.

Make a stylish entrance
We recommend entering through the main entrance via the Rose Arbour. The stunning archway of pastel-hued roses and flowers is an iconic feature of Flemington and makes for a glamorous start to your morning.

Witness sensational racing
In a first for Kennedy Oaks Day the racing action starts at 1.50pm, with the nine-race card set to conclude at 6.25pm. The racing highlight of the day is the $1 million Group 1 Kennedy Oaks at 5.50pm, which will see the best three year old staying fillies battle for victory in the ultimate test of their staying credentials.

Check out the fashion catwalk
Myer Fashions on the Field is an iconic fixture of the Melbourne Cup Carnival and a beloved celebration of fashion and racing.
