Known as the most glamorous of the four race days, the dress code for AAMI Victoria Derby Day is monochrome with racegoers attired in a chic black and white palette. For a magical start to your morning enter through the main entrance via the Rose Arbour. The stunning archway of pastel-hued roses and flowers is an iconic feature of Flemington.
Witness sensational racing
Featuring a huge day of racing, including four exceptional Group 1 races, AAMI Victoria Derby Day is one of the most prestigious days of spring racing. Be sure to have your eyes on the track for the AUD$2 million Kennedy Cantala at 4.35pm, AUD$1.5 million Coolmore Stud Stakes at 3pm, AUD$1 million TAB Empire Rose Stakes at 2.20pm and the feature race the AUD$2 million AAMI Victoria Derby at 3.45pm. Myer Fashions on the Field is Australia's largest and most prestigious outdoor fashion event. This iconic celebration of fashion and racing will see stylish women, men and families from around Australia showcasing their beautiful style and incredible creations across Cup Week. Melbourne’s trendiest eateries and stylish bars are popping up in The Park and Hill Square.
