Be one of the first to see ‘Ride Like A Girl’ before it hits cinemas.
The VRC is thrilled to invite its’ members to an advanced screening of ‘Ride Like A Girl’, prior to the film's official release on the 26th September.
‘Ride Like a Girl’ tells the incredible life story of Michelle Payne, the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup. It’s a tale of overcoming impossible odds for a shot at the dream: a ride in the 2015 Melbourne Cup. The rest is history. The film is directed by Oscar-nominated Australian actor Rachel Griffiths and stars Theresa Palmer as Payne, Sam Neil as her father, Paddy, and Stevie Payne as himself.
Your evening will begin with complimentary canapés and beverages, before you move into the cinema, where you will be treated to a small popcorn, non-alcoholic beverage and a choc-top.
There’s no better way to enjoy a film that celebrates such a historic moment for the Melbourne Cup.

SESSION TIMES: 6:30pm arrival for a 7:30pm start.
