Emirates Melbourne Cup winning connections

If you are an Owner with a runner during the 2016/17 Racing Season at Flemington, please see below for your raceday privileges.

Owners please note due to the construction of our new Club Stand the following changes are in place – Entry to and exiting The Mounting Yard will only be from the general public entry point next to The Owners and Trainers Lounge.  Temporary grandstand seating for owners and trainers will be located next to The Mounting Yard. The easiest way to get to the Mounting Yard / Parade Ring from The Grandstand in the Members is by exiting The Grandstand via the escalators to the Ground Floor and head towards the front lawn under The Grandstand. Please note that this will take longer coming from The Grandstand and remember to allow more time as necessary.

Access to Owners' & Trainers' Lounge, Members' Enclosure and Mounting Yard passes

It is the responsibility of the Syndicate Manager to collect and allocate all Owners' & Trainers' Lounge, Members' Enclosure tickets and Mounting Yard passes on behalf of the syndicate.

Owners' and Trainers' Lounge, Members' Enclosure tickets and Mounting Yard passes (restrictions are listed below) can be collected at either:

  • VRC Head Office after the final fields have been released
  • Raceday & Ticketing Office on the day of the race.

Any ticketing collected prior to raceday will be recorded and the information forwarded to the Raceday & Ticketing Office.

The Raceday & Ticketing Office will be operational from gate opening times and will close 30 minutes after the last race.

Members' dress regulations are strictly enforced within the Members' Enclosure. Owners not complying with these standards will be refused entry into the Members' Enclosure.

Important information for Owners:

  • Mounting Yard Passes are distributed on a per horse basis by using the formula: 200 divided by the No. of runners in the race (e.g. 200 / 10 = 20). Please note 'odd' numbers will be rounded down (e.g. 200 / 24 = 8.33; 8 passes will be issued).
  • All Owners involved with winning horses will be invited to the Winners Bar to enjoy the Club's hospitality after the race presentation.
  • All Owners with a runner will be able to enjoy the Club's hospitality in the Owners' & Trainers' Lounge, which is located next to the Mounting Yard.
