So Si Bon again found the winner's stall at Flemington on Saturday and remarkably, could find himself in a second All-Star Mile next Saturday.
So Si Bon lunged to land the Listed March Stakes in the last bound on Saturday and might arrive on The All-Star Mile scene late as well as he is one of the leading emergencies to come into the field in the case of a non-acceptance or a scratching.
It is considered highly unlikely that Cox Plate winner Sir Dragonet will chase The All-Star on a firm track and if that's the case, his spot in the 15-horse field will be taken up by an emergency. The All-Star Mile field is to be announced on Tuesday.
Although ranked the 11th-highest emergency, So Si Bon may still be the first horse in line for a run as the 10 emergencies listed above him are all highly unlikely.
Last year, So Si Bon was voted into The All-Star Mile field and produced a great run to finish sixth.
So Si Bon arrived late to enjoy a half-head margin over Holbien, with Pretty Brazen holding down third just ahead of luckless favourite Odeum.

Jockey Mark Zahra timed his run perfectly on the enigmatic horse.
"I should get paid double when I win on him," he said.
"I seem to go well on him. He's a horse that you aim to win in the very last stride. It doesn't happen often, but he got there today.
"He'll get a head on them with a hundred (metres to go) and he stops. This time he got a head on them with 20 to go."
