Trainer Michael Kent Jnr expects rising star Cambourne to give Saturday's Group 3 C.S. Hayes Stakes 'a real shake'.
The exciting three-year-old resumes at Flemington on Saturday following a whirlwind spring which saw him make it through to the Caulfield Guineas not long after making his return.
Kent Jnr said Cambourne has thrived over the break and he expects him to make his presence felt on Saturday with Mark Zahra to ride from barrier four.
"He's had a perfect prep, he's a lovely horse and I'm thrilled he's drawn barrier four," Kent Jnr said.
"It'll be a typical Mark Zahra ride, he will be in the right spot.
"I think he will give that race a real shake, no doubt.
"He will love Flemington, he's a big horse with a big stride. He's quite exciting. He's dynamic, he's got a turn of foot and can sustain a nice gallop to the line.
"He is a horse we have got programmed to go to the Australian Guineas and he's nommed for the Randwick Guineas and we hope to end up in the Rosehill Guineas."
