Another win for little Sisstar

There were shades of Sunlight's famous Newmarket Handicap win as her younger sibling Sisstar made all to win over 1000m at Flemington on Wednesday.

The daughter of Zoustar appeared to race keenly in the early and middle stages of the Cup Week Handicap but rallied late under Michael Poy to defeat Varda by just over a length.

It was Sisstar's second-consecutive win and trainer Tony McEvoy said the three-year-old would be given another shot at Stakes grade in the coming weeks.

Stablemate Sunlight will tackle Friday night's Moir Stakes en route to the $14 million Everest at Randwick next month.
