Ben Melham celebrates Not A Single Cent's win (Image: Racing Photos)
Ben Melham reminded punters about his talents in the saddle with a clinical winning steer aboard Not A Single Cent in Saturday's inaugural Mahogany Challenge Final (2500m) at Flemington.
For the Group 1-winning rider, who fractured his wrist in a fall from Voodoo Lad at The Valley in March, it was his 50th winner for the season and his first since returning to the races last month.
In a solidly-run 2500-metre contest, Not A Single Cent improved from near-last at 500m to claim the lead inside the final 50m, before holding out stablemate Wealthy Wolf in a driving finish.

Melham's winning mood was soured somewhat when stewards fined him $750 for breaching the whip rule aboard third-placed Observational in the Banjo Paterson Series Final (2600m).
