Last year's Lexus Melbourne Cup third placegetter Prince Of Arran is set to return to Australia later this year.
Trainer Charlie Fellowes posted an image via social media of Prince Of Arran in a lush paddock on Monday night.
"Prince of Arran has been cantering for a week and we are well on course for a run in the Ebor at York in August," Fellowes wrote.
"Then hopefully a short skip across the globe for another crack at the greatest flat race in the world!"
The £500,000 Ebor Handicap (2787m), Europe's richest handicap flat race, will be held at York on Saturday, August 24.
Prince Of Arran won last year's G3 Lexus Stakes (2500m) at Flemington on Derby Day before finishing third to Cross Counter and Marmelo in the $7.3m Lexus Melbourne Cup (3200m) three days later.
Prince Of Arran has raced three times since the Lexus Melbourne Cup, finishing ninth in December's G1 Hong Kong Vase (2400m) before competing twice at Meydan during March where he ran fourth in G2 Dubai City of Gold (2400m) and eighth in the G2 Dubai Gold Cup (3200m).
Prince Of Arran has been a headline horse for Fellowes, who is experiencing a period of growth.
The 32-year-old trainer purchased Luca Cumani's historic stable in Newmarket - Bedford House Stables - in April.
The yard, which was built in 1820, has room for 120 horses and was Cumani's base for more than four decades, from where he produced two Derby winners.
