Add another member to the list of Parfore's progeny who have claimed Black type success down the famous Flemington straight.
Kennedy Oaks Day saw Ball Of Muscle add his name to the list with a dominant win in the $150,000 Listed Absolut Stakes (1000m).
The seven-year-old joins Darley Classic and Black Caviar Lightning winner Terravista and Tiger Tees, winner of the G3 Aurie's Star Handicap in 2014, as products of the Gold Brose mare to score Black Type wins on the famous strip of turf.
Pride is now dreaming of seeing the gelding join Terravista and Tiger Tees, who won a Galaxy in Sydney, on the Group 1 winners' list.
"I'd like to think we've got another couple of seasons left in this bloke," the Sydney trainer said.
"There's a chance he'll go over to WA for the Winterbottom Stakes at the start of December, but we'll make that decision once we've got him home and taken a look at him.
"If not, I'd like to bring him back here for the Lightning, because he went really well down the straight.
"Whatever route we take with him, I'm sure he'll win more races for us in the near future. We've just got to keep him sound."
Almost 900 days after his previous success, in the 2015 QTC Cup, the son of Dubawi thrashed his rivals at Flemington.
The favourite's winning margin was one-and-three-quarter lengths, which could have been greater had jockey Glyn Schofield ridden him out to the line, with runner-up Crystal Dreamer finishing a half-head in advance of Palazzo Pubblico.
"He's well named and he's very quick," Schofield said.
"He wanted to run to the outside rail, which is what he's used to. That wasn't always the plan, but he was travelling so comfortably that I was happy for him to go there."
Although he went almost two-and-a-half years without a win, Ball Of Muscle's career record is now nine wins from 31 starts, with 14 minor placings, helping him amass $898,825 in stakes.
