Victoria Racing Club (VRC) Chairman Amanda Elliott has announced the appointment of Mr Glenn Carmody to the VRC Board.
“Glenn will be a great asset. He brings extensive business experience and a long term passion for thoroughbred racing,” Mrs Elliott said.
“Glenn has been an owner of racehorses for over 20 years, and is a long-standing VRC member.
“He has over 27 years’ experience working with Ernst & Young, a leading global professional services firm. He currently leads the Consumer Products and Retail market segment across Oceania, as well as having an extensive background in the areas of governance and finance.
“Glenn’s strong financial and commercial skills, along with a detailed understanding of trends relating to customer experience, will assist the Club to continue providing the best experience possible for all patrons,” Mrs Elliott said.
Mr Carmody fills a vacancy on the VRC Board created by the departure of Michael Burn.
