Racedays at Flemington can be a family affair and you’ll often find an entire family of stylish racegoers around the track.
Introduced in 2011, the Family Racewear category can be entered by two family members or more, with at least one contestant being over the age of 18 years.
The Family Racewear competition will be held on Stakes Day and consist of heats, a preliminary final and a final.
To be eligible to participate in the Family Racewear competition, the Guardian acknowledges and agrees on behalf of the Entrant that they will meet the following contestant criteria (Contestant Criteria):
Entrants must constitute a “family” of two people or more (in accordance with the Terms and Conditions);
Entrants and/or their outfits are not permitted to promote commercially a brand, store or designer or receive a commercial benefit from appearing in the competition; and
