The VRC is delighted to offer you a winter truffle experience on June Race Day, Saturday 8th June.
Truffles are such a seasonal luxury and the perfect flavour companion for our Byerley menu. ‘Truffle Delights’ is an inaugural dining event that will be held annually to celebrate both the truffle and winter racing seasons.
We will be joined Simon Friend of Friend & Burrell (F&B) who will share his passion for and knowledge of truffles. Simon and his partner, Bryan Burrell, are procurers and suppliers of the world’s finest foods. F&B have supplied specialty ingredients for Australia’s leading chefs and restaurants for over 15 years, including Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner By Heston, Shannon Bennett’s Vue de Monde group, Neil Perry’s Rockpool group, the Grossi family, George Calombaris, and many more.
Enjoy a delicious truffle-inspired four course lunch, specially designed by Executive Chef, Ryan Flaherty, in The Club Stand’s premium restaurant, The Byerley.
It promises to be a wonderful day of racing and gastronomic indulgence.
