A day for the jockeys

In perfect partnership with the horses they ride, the jockey directs the action on course as they bring every race to thrilling life with skill, risk, passion and commitment.

This incredible history of talent will be honoured and celebrated at the 2021 National Jockeys Trust Race Day.

The day is an enjoyable way to raise awareness and funds for the National Jockeys Trust (NJT), which works to help support injured or ill jockeys and their families.

The racing highlight of the day is the Listed Hilton Nicholas Straight Six, an open sprint held under handicap conditions down
Flemington’s famous straight

If you are tuning in from home, catch all the action live from the track via our broadcast partners:, RSN and TAB.

Update: Following yesterday’s great news, we are working to move to a one zone capacity of 15,000 patrons. As a result, our May race day on-sale has been delayed for a short time while we work through ticketing requirements. We will advise the new May on-sale dates shortly.
