Good times and great racing

Good friends and good times go hand-in-hand on Andrew Ramsden Race Day.

The Andrew Ramsden Race Day is named after an important figure in Australian racing.  Andrew Ramsden steered the VRC and, for a time, the industry through an era of change.  He served the sport with both pride and distinction.

The feature Listed race The Andrew Ramsden is sure to be a thrilling contest. This staying test of 2800m is a ‘Golden Ticket' race, where the winner earns valuable ballot exemption for entry in the 2021 Lexus Melbourne Cup.

If you are tuning in from home, catch all the action live from the track via our broadcast partners:, RSN and TAB.
