The sights, sounds and flavours of Asia return to Flemington for the annual celebration of Asia’s unique cultural treats.

Join your friends at Flemington for this extra special race day and enjoy the flavours of Asia while thrilling to the excitement of world-class thoroughbred racing.

All across Flemington, there is so much to choose from. The Front Lawn Beer Garden will be filled with hawker-style street eats, live music and roving entertainment. Enjoy kids’ activities and family-friendly fun on The Picnic Lawn. Indulge in the culinary magic of renowned guest Chefs Jerry Mai and Diana Chan across selected dining venues and restaurants. Delight in Asian-themed retail pop-ups within VRC member spaces.

Don’t miss the excitement on the track with some of the world’s fastest horses racing in the $750,000 Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning (1000m), named after the legendary mare whose stellar career consisted of 25 undefeated races.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE

It is a requirement of entry to Flemington Racecourse that you carry a face mask. In line with Government restrictions masks must currently be worn in situations where you can’t maintain 1.5m social distancing, on public transport and when using ride share or taxi services. 

Anyone who has been in COVID-19 impacted areas, hotspots or exposure sites in Queensland, New South Wales or Victoria must not attend this race day. For regular updates on impacted areas, hotspots and exposure sites please refer to the relevant state government website: Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.

If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you do not attend this race day.  

Important information for a COVID safe experience
  • You will need to acknowledge a health declaration on entry to the course. If you are feeling unwell on the day, we ask that you do not attend and call us to advise. 
  • On arrival, please make your way directly to your venue.
  • You will need to scan a QR code on arrival to your space, and register your details on the Victoria Government Services App for contact tracing purposes.
  • Movement around the course must be kept to a minimum and social distancing must be maintained at all times.
  • You will have an allocated seat and we ask that you please stay in your seat throughout the day unless you are ordering food and beverages, accessing amenities or placing a bet.
  • All food and beverage service is cashless.
  • It is a requirement of entry to the venue that you carry a face mask. Face coverings are required to be used in situations where you can’t maintain a 1.5m social distancing, on public transport or using ride share or taxi services.
