Black Caviar, The Great Horse Raceday returns in 2019 with exceptional racing, delicious food and entertainment that will WOW! Witness some of the world’s fastest horses in the Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning (1000m), named after the legendary mare whose stellar career consisted of 25 undefeated races. Celebrate the influence of Asian culture in Melbourne through experiences focused on food and entertainment.
Experience the tastes of Asia at the Hawker Food Market featuring some of Melbourne’s favourite Asian restaurants. A curated bar offering will include cocktails such as Lychee Martinis and Yuzu Sours, sake by the glass, Kirin beer and more. Live music and themed entertainment will provide plenty of fun while the return of ‘The Lucky Wall’ will give you a chance to win some amazing prizes, including a 49” Smart TCL TV. Located in the breezeway outside Saintly Place.
Mr. Miyagi has been pushing the boundaries when it comes to Japanese food and drink since 2013 and pride themselves on creating unique and exciting dining experiences.
Okamoto Fusion Sushi uses fresh fish and produce to create sushi with a twist. A Japanese-American fusion made fresh daily in Melbourne.
Wonderbao is in the business of hand making traditional steamed buns and gua baos. Locally made in Melbourne using fresh Victorian produce, we are the fluffiest and tastiest baos in town.

The Pamper Lounge is returning for Group 1 racing at Flemington, so bring your friends, sit back and relax whilst enjoy complimentary hair and make-up touch ups in The Atrium.
Located on the Front Lawn, racegoers have the opportunity to enter the TAB Grab Machine, which contains $5,000 worth of tickets redeemable for betting vouchers.
Living Legends Apache Cat and Silent Witness will be joining us at Flemington. See them parade in the Mounting Yard and hanging out in the horse stalls throughout the day.
The loveliest and liveliest sides of Tokyo is here to explore as we celebrate the influence of Asian culture in Melbourne. VRC Young Members and their guests can indulge in Japanese inspired street food, cocktails and a Sing-Sing competition (Karaoke).
