Celebrate the arrival of 2016 at the first raceday of the year at Flemington.

Looking to spend the New Year’s Day in the sunshine? Flemington is your best bet!

We kick off the calendar year of racing with a black-type double, the Group 3 Standish Handicap up the 1200m straight and the Listed Bagot Handicap over 2800m, which is sure to attract a quality field of stayers.

Children's activities

Free children's activities will take place in the Kids’ Zone, located at the West End of the Public Lawn. Activities cater for children of all ages with various outdoor games, pony rides and arts and craft activities.
