The biggest day on the autumn racing calendar, Super Saturday at Flemington is a highlight of the Melbourne Festival of Racing.

Enjoy Group 1 racing at its best including the Darley Australian Cup and Lexus Newmarket Handicap, with an all "black type" race program carrying $3.2 million in prize money.

Gates open 90 minutes prior to the first race.

Children's activities

Free children's activities will take place in the Kids’ Zone, located at the West End of the Public Lawn. Activities cater for children of all ages with various outdoor games, pony rides and arts and craft activities.

Getting to Flemington

Special trains will run direct to Flemington Racecourse. Times will be updated closer to the raceday.

You can also take the Craigieburn line to Newmarket Station and then it is a short 10 minute walk to Flemington or jump on the 57 tram. 

The 57 tram from Elizabeth Street in Melbourne CBD also travels to Flemington (20-35 minute journey, depending on traffic). Check Yarra Trams website or Public Transport Victoria's website for timetables.
